Our Team
Kelsey Morfitt is the founder of Morfitt Family Law, serving clients across Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties. A Washington native and former United States Air Force attorney, Kelsey brings extensive experience in family law, litigation, and legal advocacy.
Kelsey graduated magna cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University and earned her cum laude law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she served on the Gonzaga Law Review. Her background includes government work with the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, the Washington State Senate, the U.S. District Court for Eastern Washington, and 6 years at a private Family Law firm. She has also drafted legislation and advised policymakers in both Washington and Hawaii.
Ms. Morfitt completed Settlement Conference Training (certified to settle cases pretrial for the court) and the 40-hour Basic Mediation Training through the Pierce County Center for Dialog & Resolution. Kelsey is most proud of bringing diverse groups together to achieve passed legislation where Governor Jay Inslee said at the 2017 bill-signing, “I never thought I’d see these people in the same room together.” Kelsey worked around the clock to reach agreement on shellfish legislation that included balancing the interests of native tribes, business owners, government regulators, shellfish farmers, the media, recreational fishers, environmental groups, and senators on both sides of the aisle.
At Morfitt Family Law, Kelsey focuses on delivering clear, practical legal solutions for clients facing divorce, custody, and other family law challenges.

Abigail Jackson
Abigail Jackson joined the Morfitt Family Law team in January of 2026 after practicing family and criminal law at another local firm for about two years. Born and raised in New York, she moved to the State of Washington in fall of 2023.
After receiving her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Gender and Sexuality Studies at Stony Brook University, Abigail graduated cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Law with a concentration in Family Law. During her time in law school, she practiced as a Student Associate in the school’s Civil Rights and Transparency Clinic and the Mediation Clinic. Abigail mediated family, employment discrimination, and small claims cases. Additionally, Abigail worked as a research assistant for a law school professor, which refined her legal research skills and expanded her knowledge of family law.
Since becoming an attorney, Abigail has practiced both family and criminal law. Her experience as a public defender strengthened her skills in litigation and gave her a deeper understanding of domestic violence matters, providing her with the insight and ability to effectively advocate in your family law case. Abigail believes that empathy is a crucial aspect of practicing law, and she strives to provide each client with the compassion and advocacy they deserve.
When she is not in the office or in the courtroom, Abigail enjoys reading, crocheting, watching horror movies, discovering new nature trails, and spending time with her partner.

Christina provides compassion to every client and strongly believes in equality for all. Her training as a church recovery sponsor has given her the tools necessary to navigate challenges with mental health and substance use issues. She believes everyone deserves a safe space to be vulnerable about what they are experiencing.
She has worked in various areas of law. However, she has focused her skills on specializing in family law. She has a passion to walk with clients through the process of divorce. Christina's past personal experience as a mother of two children going through her own divorce prepared her to see the other side of the process. Therefore, she not only meets clients where they are on a professional level, but also a personal level.
Christina has spent a great deal of time engaging in community and advocacy, especially as it relates to standing up for children as a voice for change through legislation. She served on various levels of PTA to include the Washington State level. She believes in fighting to protect children and their best interest, which helps guide her in her family law cases.
Outside of the office, Christina enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, spending time outdoors, and traveling. Her favorite travel destination is the Netherlands where she visits family.
